Documentation

SmartPost Templates is an open-source WordPress plugin. It is a powerful template builder and intuitive authoring tool that is user centered. No programming or coding knowledge required.

The help documentation is currently split into two sections: components and widgets.

SmartPost post components are modular content "boxes" — they literally look like boxes with things in them. There are various types of components, i.e. video, photo, attachments, and they all have there own interactive features and settings that users and developers can tweak.

SmartPost widgets are WordPress widgets that come with SmartPost. The most important one right now is the "SP QuickPost" widget as that allows users to create new posts on the front-end based off the templates defined in the back-end.
